Terms

The terms for VAMP accounts and licensing at app.vamp.sh.

Last updated 2026-10-16

These terms cover the account and license service at app.vamp.sh, run by Self Driving Jazz ("we", "us"). By using the service you accept these terms. The Vampire for Mac app is covered by the EULA.

1. The service

The service manages accounts, license keys and Mac activations. Your library stays on your machines and on servers you choose; this service does not receive or publish your media. The open-source VAMP protocol and CLI do not require an account or a Vampire license.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 and able to agree to these terms where you live.
  • Keep your email address working and your sign-in and license key secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  • Don't bypass license checks, access another person's account, overload the service or use it unlawfully.

3. Purchases and refunds

Vampire for Mac costs $25 once, plus tax where applicable, with a 14-day free trial. There is no subscription. Polar (polar.sh) is the merchant of record: it handles checkout, tax and receipts under its own terms. The license terms are in the EULA; our Refund policy offers a full refund within 30 days of purchase.

4. Your data

The Privacy policy explains the account, order and activation data we process. You retain all rights to your media; these terms grant us no license to store or publish it.

5. Ending access

You can stop using your account and ask us to delete its data by contacting support. Deleting license data deactivates the license on every Mac. We may suspend access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms or when the law requires it. License termination is governed by the EULA. Your library on your own machines is not affected.

6. No warranty

The account service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent the law allows.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or revenue. Our total liability for the account service is limited to what you paid us for Vampire in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits consumer rights that can't be waived by contract.

8. Changes

We post changes here with a new date. For material changes we tell the people affected at least 30 days ahead. Changes to these terms do not change the perpetual app license granted by the EULA.
